ALTO 7 & ALTO 7+ connects to the TV via HDMI cable. One end of the HDMI cable gets connected to the soundbar, while the other end gets connected to the port labeled as HDMI ARC on the TV. This HDMI ARC stands for Audio return channel. This HDMI ARC port syncs the Audio and Video on your soundbar and TV. It also allows you to control the soundbar volume as well as wake up the soundbar using TV remote.
